White Powder Ma only appears for one scene in the film alive (his decapitated head is shown briefly in another scene). This part of the movie is set in Thailand. White Powder Ma steps off a water taxi, the kind famous on the Bangkok river, straight into a restaurant. Here he meets the man who kills him. The character only has a few lines and plays no significant part in the film Year of the Dragon but the his usual name is memorable. As the name suggests White Powder Ma is a middle man for drug smuggling. The movie is not all that great i was expecting more from the director Oliver Stone. Micky Rourke’s acting was not believable but the name White Powder Ma did stick with me, so it was worth a watch.
